it doesn't matter what everyone else thinks. People are always judging each other and,  the truth is, they're not very good at it.   Don't put a lot of concern into what people think of you.   You weren't created to please and entertain everyone.  You were created to be you, so feel good about yourself

There are three kinds of people.

Those that make things happen.

Those that watch what happens.

Those that wonder what happened.

 Which one are you?

Greet and smile at anybody you meet, you will lift their spirits to keep him/her going.  It may be the last time you'll see him/her.

IN LOVING MEMORY

Dad, I miss you & love you soooo much

********************************

Pauline, think of this when you are feeling sad

I AM WITH YOU STILL

I give you this one thought to keep

I am with you still - do not weep

I am a thousand winds that blow

I am the diamond glints on snow

I am the sunlight on ripened grain

I am the gentle autumn's rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush,

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight,

I am the soft stars that shine at night,

Do not think of me as gone -

I am with you still - in each new dawn

"Three Loons - 20th Year Memorial"

Wednesday, November 2, 2011

for Mary Bunting, Raymond Littledeer and Gary Quedent

This event was enjoyed by those that attended.    I was thankful to all the people that came out to support the families.  We had Delilah Anderson sing two songs.  We had a short DVD and these were given to Paul Littledeer and Agnes Quedent.  I'll see if Pauline could make a few more and I'll give one to Jodi.  We also borrowed the painting from the Q.E.D.H.S. and Pauline had made a banner of the 3 loons.  Jessie from Shibogama office made a cake with 3 loons and this was appreciated by all the people that were there.

Some of the comments from the people that attended were glad, happy that we set up the Memorial.  It has been 20 years since we last saw them but, they are still loved and they will not forgotten.  They are still in our hearts and in our thoughts as we go through life.

Thanks goes out to:

Jessie Brown for making the beautiful cake

Pearl Mamakwa for designing the poster for the Three Loons Memorial

Signatures for making the banner

Cheers for the vases & carnations

Roy & Delilah:  Delilah for singing two songs

Pauline for making the DVD for us to watch

Frank for helping us set up the tables

for everyone else who brought food and desserts

and most of all for the people that attended the Memorial and helped make this happen

 Jodi:

Jan. 12/12 Update:  I put those things in the mail for you; I don't know how long it takes mail to get up to Big Trout from Sioux Lookout.  I sent you 5 photobuttons of Raymond, two copies of that DVD and some pictures of the 20th Year Memorial .    I hope that you will like everything that I will send to you.  Phone me after you have received this package and tell me how you like the package.  Marie has two of Raymond's hockey sweaters (I don't know her phone #.)

To my friend in Kas who thinks she may have found new muscles where she thought she didn't have any.  That is sooooo funny.  "BUNS OF STEEL"    Eeeeee!   When are you coming to town again?  Let me know and I'll bake you some banana bread and maybe a blueberry cake.

It was good to talk to my friend and update each other on our lives.

Phone me at SLAAMB @ 1-800-563-2183 or 1-807-737-4047 or at home 1-807-582-3510 or fax me at home 1-807-582-3872.

 Love is a choice...

The older you get and if you've been burnt enough, you actually paint yourself a picture of who and what you want in life. You don't fall in love immediately. If a woman chooses to give a man a chance, she usually ends up loving him. It's easy for a woman to love; she just needs to choose the right partner that deserves her unconditional love."

The Boston Bruins used to be my favorite team when Bobby Orr was playing; he was soooo good.
